Tari Pendet Or Pendet Dance
Pendet is a dance of worship which was exhibited at many temples. Pendet is a declaration of a gift in the form of ceremonial dances. Unlike dances performances that require intensive training, Pendet be danced by all people, dancer men and women, rural women and girls.

Pendet sung in groups or pairs, shown after the Rejang dance in the temple yard. Usually the dancers facing the holy (pelinggih) wearing ceremonial dress and each dancer brings sangku ( Dancers brought a plate ) , jars, bowls and accessories of other offerings. Pendet addition, in Bali, there are several types of dances that brought the girls or adult women to complete the implementation of ritual or religious ceremony.

As Pendet, this dance is the feminine nature, because it requires the movements graceful like a dance Sanghyang Dedari, Rejang dance, and dance Sutri Gabor. Balinese dances are performed for the purpose of religious ritual dance called guardians, are staging outside the temple called Balih-balihan.
